What services do you offer?

Abigail Benjamin is an attorney who answers your questions about real estate law, energy law, and environmental law issues within the State of West Virginia. She is licensed to practice law in all West Virginia State Courts. She's also licensed to practice law in the Federal Courts of the Northern District of West Virginia and the Southern District of West Virginia.

Abigail is an adjunct professor of Environmental Law and Policy at West Virginia Wesleyan College.

What are your fees?

Abigail charges $150.00 for the preparation of a new deed. She charges $200.00 for a residential title search and $600.00 to $850.00 for a commercial title search. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.

Abigail provides a one-hour telephone consult on a mineral rights lease for $200.00.

Abigail charges $200 per hour for litigation services in energy law, environmental law, or property law.

Abigail provides a 30 minute consultation for a $25.00 fee as member of the lawyer referral service from the State Bar of West Virginia.

(Consultations are limited to clients who have energy law, environmental law or property law issues in West Virginia. Mineral rights leases are excluded from this special fee reduction offer).

Abigail provides free environmental law work for the West Virginia Rivers Coalition. She serves as a volunteer attorney with the Chesapeake Legal Alliance, a group that protects the streams flowing into the Chesapeake Bay.
